greddy s bov. does not sound right.

well i have had this problem for awhile but the more i think about it, i dont think its right. WOT it flutters. now its a little too fast to be a compressor surge. my friend has the exact bov and it sounds perfect. mine sounds like someone laughing. like a teeheeheehee. i had it recirced nothing. i attached the little nipple to the intake still nothing. i have adjusted the top screw EVERY way and there is no difference.... i searched the forum like crazyyyy and i just cant find an answer. would the single spring mod work? ALSO my car stalls after about 4k heavy throttle i hope there is a relation between these.

Sounds like a boost leak from the way youre talking. Do a boost leak test and we'll go from there.

i did and everything was fine. i thought the same thing but i went through 3 times. and found nothing

Is your vaccum source for your BOV right off the turbos compressor side sometimes if your vaccum source is not right near the source of your pressure it will not work properly...

you have to run the BOV line from the manifold after the throttle body... its how they work.
if you run it before the throttle body it wont ever release...

this is how mine is. wastegate to MBC, MBC to BOV. thats about it....

The diaphram might be messed up in it. You may just have a bad bov.

how would i be able to tell? i took it apart and i removed the small spring. so i will see how it works after this snowstorm.

and it still flutters. i have hooked it up straight to the manifold...how would i know if its broken?

Does anyone of your friends have an extra bov you could try and see if it works.

I wouldn't know since mine has never broken but it's like a gasket inside the bov I'm guessing .

yea i thought of that. but everyone around here has a diesel truck or a vw. or else i would just slap it on theirs to see how it would sound.

Im much leaning torwards the diaphram as well. It seems like your doing nothing wrong with installation, only problem i could see is defective or broken product.
