Got the BullseyePower T04B V-trim in today. Just waiting, now, on the oil feed and return lines that were out of stock when I placed the order. The pictured elbow is the 90* aluminum elbow. I used it to prop up the turbo in a couple pics.

Sorry for the crappy pics - it's not a camera phone, but it may as well be. It's the best I got until February (my birthday :D) though.

As soon as I pull the 13G, I'm going to embarass it a little bit by taking side-by-side comparison pics. ;)

Oh, and don't mind the rebar-soldier in the first picture. My roommate decided to build him with my welder and a little creativity.

You can forget about using a stock intake tube with this thing. It will not fit.

Good choice, I hope we see more people going with the Garrett turbos rather than the old 16G. Let us know how the install goes and how it runs.

Looks close to my t04e....now to get her running right!

What is the difference between the T04B and T04E

I believe that would be the compressor housing. The T04E housing is a bit larger than the T04B, which is why the T04B's fit much more easily without denting up/bending the water lines. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the T04E provides for a little more compressor efficiency (just look at some map comparisons between the two).

it has somewhat to do with the housing, the T04E is larger, but the compressor wheels inside the housing determine the efficiency. I had an T04E and it fit without any mods to the water pipe.

I realize it's the wheel itself that determines compressor effeciency, but it seems to me like the housing would have some effect on effeciency as well. For example, a big compressor wheel in a smaller housing seems like it would be less efficient than that same wheel in a larger or more properly sized housing, no? Please let me know if I'm wrong here, because I'm just basing this off my own conclusions (which could VERY well be wrong ;) ).

GuitarXGeek, you're right.

There is an art to sizing turbo wheels with housings. A larger wheel spools faster, while a smaller wheel can't move enough air at higher RPMs (it becomes less efficient). A smaller A/R (area to radius - the size of the housing compared to the wheel) will give you faster spool (less space to fill, more air velocity) but will choke in the top-end. A larger A/R won't choke in the top-end, but won't spool as fast.

The idea is to find the best combination for your engine and mods.

before you put it on you should probably port the area leading to the gate, thats a pretty sharp turn. I was only looking at mine in the dark for anything like that and when I brought it Into AMS they pointed out and I saw right away that it could DEFINITLY use it.

Can some one give a comparison between, the PTE 50trim, and super 16g turbo compared to this turbo: horses, cfm's etc. the specs on this turbo, thanks

how about you look them up yourself?

a 50 trim is similar to the to4e from bullseye, not the to4b. the to4b is similar to the 16G.

16g - 38 lbs/min
20g - 44 lbs/min
T04B V-trim - 48 lbs/min
T04E 50-Trim - 49 lbs/min
T04B H-3 - 50 lbs/min
T04B-52 - 52 lbs/min Click here
T04E 60-Trim - 53 lbs/min

I hope this helps

Man, that is one sweet-ass turbo. I'm looking to get the same one this summer.... They look to be the best deal for the price and quality.

What is the inlet size on yours?

What are you going to do with your SBR-B16G??

I bought the 16G used off of trader - it ended up being blown. It boosted fine, but my exhaust was pretty much a smokescreen. I wound up selling it to a performance shop who can rebuild it.

The inlet is a little under 3'' IIRC - I'm using a 3'' Fernco coupler for my home-built ghetto intake, and it fit over it with a little room to spare.

The one issue I've had is that there's definitely no using my stock radiator fan - I hacked up the shroud to fit it in there, and if I were to run it, the fan would smack the actuator dead-on. Eyeing it, I thought it would clear, but no such luck. 2Gs seem to have a bit more room between the exhaust manifold and the radiator, though.

I'm also going to have to do something with my LICP, because I'd have to put a huge kink in it to the turbo's compressor outlet location. With the 90* elbow, it's almost a straight shot to the stock intercooler inlet, and the stock LICP has all sorts of bends.

You have a FMIC, though, so your routing will be much different, of course. :D

psychlow - Dude I just want you to know that this post and you pics convinced me to ditch my lil 14b and get a To4B-H3 this coming Friday. I drank 9 beers and stared at your pics and said f**k it, I'm going to drive to Bulleye and get one this week. I cant wait to get some w/ balls instead of my 14B or mu old T-too small. I'm just posting this because I'm excited and drunk. I love you guys......

nice turbo!

I just wanna add that I too purchased one of the BE turbo's

but I live half way around the world but their customer service is the best I've ever experienced in ALL my online dealings ever, most vendors i approach turn the blind eye to me and I don't even get a response from them,

This was enough to sway to buy their product.. so I literally sent a money order half way around the world on wed. he should have it monday morning.. and I my turbo on it's way shortly after...

A+ for david and the rest at Bullesye Power... if these guys sold other car parts I'd buy everything for my car from them :thumb: sadly they don't so I have to deal with other less "co-operative" vendors who give me nothing but a hard time.. :| ...

Is this true for all 20G's? Or just a general statement. If so list the turbo specifics. There are variants. I have looked around for the flow of this turbo, but always find some other sort of variant that makes it NOT like mine. Could you help out?

I am running a TDO6H 20G with a compressor cover like this....
