I haven't worked for that company in almost 5 years and if I could do it all over again I certainly never would. These are not Mutt turbo's as you can plainly see. We dont order Garrett parts and build them by hand, we dont use a 7cm Mitsu turbine housing with a homemade clamp. These are the same Garrett units you can purchase off the shelf from any Garrett distributor, take off the useless non wastegated turbine housing and bolt on one our custom cast turbine housings. With Garrett building nearly 1,700 turbos per hour and having less than a 1% failure rate we feel confident enough to offer a 24 month warranty. The reason we charge a nominal fee for this coverage (around $3 a month) is to make it a "No Hassle" warranty. Since over 90% of turbo failure is due to lack of or contaminated oil that Garrett doesn't even cover we felt this would be a great added insurance policy and peace of mind. There's no hiding behind pages of warranty disclaimers and exemptions.

Wow... So your going to claim that your turbo is an inexpensive alternative for the 20g? whats the fastest 20g running right now? I personally road home in this car on the day it ran its [email protected] 1/8-7.292 1/8mph-97.82 60ft-1.749 90 Talon Tsi Andy Nash (www.dsmtimes.org) That car was the holder of the Fastest 20g on record. Now its down to a 11.0et. Good luck getting your "inexpensive alternative to a 20g to run that time" I'm deffinatly with Ecoli on this one.

Clearly not. The name keeps changing.

Don't make it sound like you worked for them, you were co-owner/founder.

No one here said they were.

The issue is if we should feel confident you'll still be around in 24 months. And if so, what company name will it be this time?

Stapl3

I'm not sure who you are and think you know. But, I never owned any part of any company until now. I was lucky if I even got a paycheck back then. I can understand I may have been in the limelight since I handled most of the sales. As far as Bullseye Power and our warranty we are backed by a multi million dollar company called Eagle Alloy that has been in business for 26 years. What's in the past is in the past, I am confident that there isn't a single one of Bullseye's customers that feels that we have wronged them in any way.

It seems to me that you are either a competitor or are closely working with one of our competitors and we have possibly taken away some of your business. That would explain your determination to bring back irrevelant information from the past, which most of it is not true. If you'd like to come out to Muskegon and see the operation for yourself please take the short drive from Detroit and we'll show you around.

Where are you guys located in Michigan? Could you post your local address I'd love to come see the factory, I'll mapquest the directions. Also, my brother would love to come with some engineering students if at all possible, the one field trip was excellent we went to a distillary and drank some fresh beer. Anyways, I didn't realize you were located so close because your profile didn't say so. Let me know if this would be alright?

Damian

Edit: Sorry I should have said this would be from the Engineering school here at Toledo, it would be nice because mostly mechanical engineers and the love to see how things work and so forth, so let me know and we could possibly arrange a visit/tour. PM me if you don't want it to take up this post.

Sounds great, there were not a lot of field trips left to go to so throwing this in the mix would be most excellent. And as a benefit most of these engineers are going into the car industry or some for of it so an up close look at everything, especially the engineering behind it, would be a most gracious gift. I've seen the floor of Comp Cams before, lets just say it was insane. I'll call tomorrow and get some more information together then. Thank you.

ok so i don't understand what the problem is......

With all due respect to those who are against Dave or Bulls Eye Products i don't see where the problem is.....

The housing - The bullseye housing has been made quite popular over the last couple of years due to their perormance with AGP turbos and people that have used them as replacements to other housings. Therefore i don't see how anyone can criticize the housing.

The turbo - The turbo is an off the shelf turbo from Garrett. It's obvious it's not designed for 30+psi and no one has ever claimed it to be. The turbo has done well for the people who have gotten them. I haven't seen one complain yet. We have a few people who upgraded from 16g's and 20g's and have been quite happy.

The turbo is an alternative to the 16g and has never been advertised as anything more.

And above all that has been brought up these are not "Mutt" Turbos

Please keep my company's name out of your defense for another company, and don't ever use my name or company's name to sell your products. You are not one of my customers or dealers, so you don't have any right to associate yourself with me or AGP.

http://www.dsm-performance.com/

Appers to be now owned by ATR. It says nothing about Extreme Turbo on the main page, but if you click certain links like the "Nemesis Directive", you'll notice the header on the top of your browser says "Extreme Turbo/DSM-Performance". Seems like someone forgot to update some of the other pages to remove "Extreme Turbo".
Here is a link to the way back machine to show you what dsm-performance.com looked like in the past and what contacts it used to have.
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.dsm-performance.com

Then you have http://www.extremeturbo.com/
The address is in Alabama and is no phone number to be found. It however has the exact same webpage layout as Bullseye Power and happens to sell the same product with the same warranties and the same prices.

Here is a link to the way back machine to show you what extremeturbo.com looked like in the past and what contacts it used to have.
http://web.archive.org/web/*/extremeturbo.com
As you can see from the previous pages, extremturbo.com and dsm-performance.com used to be two in one.

Here is some info on http://www.bullseye-power.com/
Website address says Michigan. Shipping and Billing number is a Michigan number, Sales and Tech number is a North Carolina number, and the Fax number is here in the Chicago area. However whoever 1029TSG is, it says they are in Jacksonville, FL yet they say come to Michigan to check out their foundry.

Who knows what to think of this circle jerk of websites and names. You could just spare yourself the hassle and posibility of getting shafted and spend a few more bucks and buy products from DSM Vendors that are reputable and have a proven track record. There is also some very interesting information posted on NABR about ownership of said companies and the trends that tend to follow the names.

We have many distributors that resell our product with our warranty and similar or exact retail pricing. They also use OSCommerce for their website layout, thats no surprise.

www.theturbotrader.com
www.extremeturbo.com
www.greperformance.com
www.crucialautomotive.com
www.englishracing.net

and the list goes on. I appreciate you spending all this time to figure out who we are. If there's anyone out there that would like to know who we are please feel free to give me a call. Our entire operation is based solely in Muskegon, MI like I mentioned earlier. However, I handle the sales end of it here in Jacksonville, FL. When the company first started I live in Charlotte, NC and we decided it would be best to keep the same phone number after I moved down here. Our fax number is nothing more than an internet fax line so all incoming faxes are received via email, you cant choose your fax number. Anyway, I appreciate all the concern from other vendors over who we are and hope that we haven't rocked the boat with our popular product line.

Man, he was quick, all headers are now current on his site. Interesting he responds to most of your post except for that.

Nothing has changed, the headers aren't current. If you think we own, operate or have anything to do with all these different companies you're just plain wrong.

Of course dsm-performance and extremeturbo were one company 3-5 years ago no one is questioning that. I'm just saying that extremeturbo and/or dsm-performance is not Bullseye Power. Although we sell and drop ship for extremeturbo even though I cant remember when the last time they ordered anything from us.

Yes, this is our eBay store

and as you can see we have "Rock Solid" positive feedback for more than 2 years running. It seems this thread has turned in to a frugal attempt to "steer" customers away from our product and back to who? AMS? FP?

Your right, it has gotten way off topic. I wouldn't steer anybody torwards any of the companies mentioned, just torwards a better investment than what you are offering ( I have never purchased anything from FP or AMS). Just trying to look out for fellow DSM guys, there are better things than what you offer, for very close to your pricing.

Well this turned into bashing about a page ago.

Thread closed.

Run your rumor mill somewhere else.
