hey all, i was out tonight after i just got my new tre tranny broke in and the first race i get i mess something else up.
after the run we turn around in a subdivision, i nail it turning out on to the road and i hear a pop noise that i thought was a backfire at first, then, no boost, wont even get to 0 vac/boost, my wideband reads 14.8 and wont move from 14.8. the turbo wont spool at all. it idles fine and drives fine under low load. but it is burning coolant and smoking really bad and sounds like it has a massive exhaust leak somewhere.
im thinking coolant seals in the turbo but i never heard of just the coolant seals blowing. the oil is not being burned at all and there is no coolant in the oil so im thinking its not a head gasket.
let me know what you guys think it is, and by the way its a 14b turbo
