Winnipeg,
Okay well i just got my 18 inch rims and i'm excited!!! I also got my springs but they lower the car 2 inches, just wondering is that to much because there is a pretty big gap in the front since its stock springs. If its too much is there any way i can adjust the height even though it say it lowers 2 inches.

Well Is The Lowering Kit You Have A Spring Kit Which Replaces your stock springs if so then no your ride height can not be ajusted. 18 inch should fit with a 2 inch lowering kit but i believe they will rub because i had a 1.5 inch lowering kit and it would rub badly only when i hit a huge bump 2inch will rub to oviously. i hope this helped you

I would go a max of 1.5" drop. More that that, it will be a chore to drive. Babysitting a car on every dip, hump or driveway gets old really quick.

ya what he is right but just pay attention to where you are going, i love the look of the car so it is worth it imo, i am so used to avoiding curbs and everything that it isnt a big deal for me, you master the angles real quick, its not bad. were talking about .5 inches here tho so dont kill yourself over it.

Anything over 1.5" lowered will ride like crap. I hope you also invested in some good shocks. You'll blow your shocks in a few weeks and bounce around all over the place. Your ride may look pimp but feel like pogo stick.

I've got 18's, dropped 2" and a blitz kit and I don't scrape much, you're ok. it'll handle like a beast too. :thumb:

I had 18 HP Evos and my car is lowered 1.2" with Prokits, it still had a little gap though. I wouldn't recommend anything past 1.5" though unless you're all about looks and not about how the ride will feel.

I have 18's on my car and I dropped it about 1.5-1.75 and I have never rubbed....I do have to be careful on steep driveways though especially with my exhaust....it scrapes from time to time....I wish that I only would have dropped it like 1.2 but I am still satisfied with my current setup.

If you plan to lower 2 inches then you will need to invest in the shorter shocks and struts like Koni, and they are costly. With the 18" rim and a 2 inch drop you will have to have an extremely low profile tire or they will be rubbing your fenders. Probably a 40 series tire would be good. Honestly I would go with the Eibach Prokit and what ever shock you like best. You still get a 1 inch drop and with 18" rims you should still have the look your after, and keep the stock ride quality as well.

Yea i decided to go 1-1.5 inch probably eibach, intrax or tein. I don't really want to change my stock shocks so i think the eibach pro kit would be perfect because it gives you that stock feel and the intrax and tein are fine. My buddy been running with his stock shocks for the last year using the intrax 1.5 inch and his car runs great. You think i should change my stock shocks if i lower my car only 1-1.5 inch, my stock shocks are in great quality too and rides perfect. I don't really have that much cash to spend on this. Thanks for the advice guys.:thumb:

By the way i'am also getting a ingall camber kit as well. So is it okay to keep my stock shocks if i'm only dropping 1 to 1.5".
