Came across this video a little while ago. It's a very clear and concise explanation of the design and functionality of a PCV system. The video showcases a Toyota engine which is eerily similar in design to the 4G63. Have a look.

Watching this made me thing about keeping my pvc set up to the intake and not adding it to a 2 port catch can, as the low load and high load seems to do the oiling system good, removing this would what I thought is wear the rings more, so Mayne just a small filter is all is needed then
