ok well i have a extra block and crank that i wana build. i just dont know where i should go with this build. i would like to get a 2.3 stroker kit and build it....but i wana know if its just a simple upgrade or would i have to upgrade EVERYTHING else in my car because of it. my goals are to get 500 to 600 hp daily driver. ofcourse with dsm link and all the good engine management stuff. any ideas?

thanks!!

Im not a huge fan of tubular manifolds on these cars. I was thinking of making myself a top mount later down the road similar to "the4g63shop" talon that you see all over youtube.

Top mount manifold are tubular too and it's not always necessary to go to top mount for gt42 turbo. Shorter manifold runners are more durable and better on the spool rate than the lengthy top mount runners.

just throwing in my 2 cents, stick with 2.0 if you wanna daily driver, the pistons on the strokers arent as deep and take a lot of beating, especially if you drive like me LOL. im finishing up my build and i want power but reliability so i went trough topline for my rebuild kit (which was really reasonably priced) and i got lower compression pistons so they could handle the boost i want to do. like everyone else said DEF go with the ecm link, its very user friendly. also along your path upgrade your fuel and you'll be good to go. Good luck with the build. Oh and btw i got my tranny rebuilt last year by gary at mitsubishi graveyard and it was a great price.

ive been reading about it and it looks like a very good system but at the same time it looks very complicated IMO, messing too much with the computer and stuff and im not very good with electronics LOL.

like i said before im gona try doing a basic tuning with the maft and see how it goes with that.

i got another question that might be a little off topic here, is dual exshaust too ricey? LOL just wana see if it even looks good on these cars for being a 4 cylinder.

The duel exhaust is a personal decision on weather you think it is to ricey for your car or not. I would never do it to any car I own that has an inline engine. I vote ricey as all hell and never do it but if you like it it is your car.

It's a little harder to start with to tune as there is a steeper learning curve, but it's cheaper and the same stuff ECMLink can give you plus a few extra things.

Just use the search button:

Dual exhaust eh? Here's a couple links. It CAN look alright if done PROPERLY, if not :barf:
