Anyone running this setup ? I think it would be a pretty good street setup. Should spool up pretty quickly and pull all the way to 8000 rpm. The fp3065 is about the same price but it will spool up a little later. Which one would you guys recomend and why ? Thanks

Is that what you have ? I checked your mod list and didnt see a turbo listed. If so, how do you like it on a 2.3 ? When do you get full spool by ? Do you think its streetable ?

I'm running an FP3052 on a 2.4L G4CS, but currently I am still in the break-in period, so I'm not running much for boost. I will be taking it to AMS as soon as it gets warm out, for dyno tuning. All I can say right now is that it spools quite early, but until I get a dyno log I can't put numbers to it.

yea, keep us updated. Anyone else run either one of those turbos?

3065 2.3l spools quick good power. Johnnytsi rocks a 3052 2.3l. Seems to work just fine 11.16 for him. I moved to a gt42r just wating on my manifold and such.

What exactly are you looking for, super quick spool or max power? While both will net you very nice numbers on both pump & race gas you have to descide your main goal. The 3052 on a stroker would spool very quick & would be very fun in a DD. Based on how a 3065 spools on a stroker I would say the 3052 is basically going to spool for you like an evoIII would on a stock comp 2.0L. Obviously spool can vary a good amount from setup to setup but I would ball park the 3052 at 3500 while the 3065 at 4000 rpms. I wouldn't consider a 3065 a laggy turbo on a stroker. If I had awd with a built stroker, this would be the route I would go even on a daily driven car. I have a stock 2L & am also fwd so I went with the 3052.

for a stroker id say 3065. i wish i got that instead of the 52 i purchased because now im thinking about a 2.4 setup also. Even thought the 52 is a great turbo..65 sounds like soo much more room to grow..and for the main idea that i think bigger is better LOL

i have a 2.0 with a 3052. in a few weeks i am moving up to a fully built 2.0 and am sticking with the 3052. i personally think the 3065 will be perfect for the 2.3. in all honesty, i would go with a 35r for a stroker, as you can easily max out the 3065. so i will be the first to suggest a 3575.

then again, it all depends on your goals. for my immediate setup: built 2.0, 8.5cr, ported 1g head with crower valve springs and retainers, fp2 cams, and stock intake mani... i am looking for about 420awhp on 91+meth, thats on a mustang dyno, factor in about 15% for a standard unloaded dynojet..and you're near 480awhp. and thats with the 3052 easily. if you want more, i suggest the 3575, you won't suffer much lag, only about as much as a 30r on stock 2.0 if not less, depends on the tune. just my .05

yea, I just dont want to make the mistake of going too small at first and then wanting a bigger turbo. I think I will go with the fp3065. Should be a pretty good street setup.

I went with the 3052 with a fully built motor tranny upgrades and fully built suspension setup I am also on a fwd and i am about to start my breakin this week if the motor was stroked i'd def go with the 3065 or bigger.
