Good Boost Guage?

ive never used a megan racing gauge...but i did buy their exhaust system for both of my cars including headers, o2 housing and radiators and i love and swear by them. i would go ahead and buy them and if you dont like it...return it or sell it...i would recomend not getting the tinted gauge though...you can barely see it during the day and gets kind of annoying in my opinion. but its awesome at night.

I got me a prosport, looks exactly like the megan racing ones but...cheaper. I have had no problems with it thus far, they have really good reviews and as long as you wire em up, they are fine in the day time with the tinted lense. My .02 cents

Yes. i have done tons of research, I'm 16 and this is my first car so i like to get input from other people to make sure im getting the best product for the money

That autometer doesnt show vacuum

Thats true..The only other one I found on summit, was a -20+20..I should have linked that one..

Your local auto parts stores sell gauges..They might be 5 buxs more but still you can see them in person..

Pick a gauge you like and buy it. At this point in the tuner lifespan every company and their mother has figured out how to make an accurate vac/boost gauge.

Ok im new at this and the only dumb question is the one you dont ask, so here goes. Is the AEM Tru Boost controller just a boost controller or is it a gauge to that shows you vacuum and everything else ?

IMO, autometer is the best looking gauge IN THE DAYTIME. they suck at night. i used to have an autometer but i switched it for a prosport now. looks good 24 hours a day :thumb: plus i really like the blacked out look when its off, sortve like the megan one in the OP link. i dont see a price for the boost gauge on that site but im sure its probably more then a prosport

The Megan isn't a bad boost gauge, they were even cheaper when I bought mine a couple years ago. With the tint, its impossible to know whether you're at 10psi or 30psi just by looking at it during the day, so my solution was to wire it into an ignition power source so the light was on whenever my car was running.

Prosport Evo series! We're running them in 2 of our 1g's and I love them. You can buy directly from prosport on ebay for whole sale price. Just find the prosportgauges store on ebay.
