Calgary,
I'm heading down to the track tonight. So all you auto n/t guys who think turboing your car isn't a good idea, I suggest you wait until I get back. :p

Wish me luck. I'm running 5 psi with no spare and undersized tires :tease:

Also do you have any suggestions for my battery tie down? My car's battery never came tied down and its a rule at the track. Last year I used zip ties but this year they aren't accepting that. haha

Yea 15s are good enough, hopefully I can break into the 14s if im lucky. When I get the intercooler I'll crank the boost up to 8 psi and hopefully get into the low 14s.

man my stock clutch sucked so bad that even though my fuel system would support 11 psi
it still took me 15 seconds to get down the track
but my speed was almost 100mph

clutch slipped all the way through 1st, then spun all the way through second and finally hooked up in 3rd
and i still caught up with and passed the supra i was beside

good times

your auto OMG what mods did you have when you pulled a 16.2 at the track?
oh and best of luck

I live my life a quarter-pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, im free. I need FRIESSSS! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and i need them tonight. Youre lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didnt blow a seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, its like this. If i lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if i win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, thats more important. :dsm: :thumb: :dsm:

Well, the auto let me down. :notgood: First gear was always horrible, I kept loosing to every damn car I raced. Best run was 15.7 @ 82 (first run). I wasn't even ready. haha.

Last run was a 18.6 @ 74 :| , I don't know really know why. It felt like it took forever for the boost to kick in and when it did, it felt like nothing. I power braked and everything. :toobad:

This was all untuned. I'll post the time slips tomorrow. Also when I floored it, it was slower than gradually opening the throttle...

Well im going to dyno once I get a little bit more money hopefully this week, I think I might be running too rich. I want to run again next Friday.

Also do any of you guys have any launching tips? I'm so confused why my times were so unconstant and my R/T on the 15.7 was a shitty 1.1! All my other runs had better R/Ts like .466 with crappier results. wtf. The car seems so damn slow anywhere below 4k rpms.
