only got two runs in but it still went good and the results are.

first pass was
11.3 at 124mph with a 1.76 60ft

the second pass was
11.09 at 123mph, this run i blew a two inch hole in one of the intercooler piping couplers about 500rpm's before the finish line, so i think it might have been around a 10.9 pass but who knows.
hopefully vids up tommorrow!!!

Damn.....

I meant to also add CONGRATS YOU GUYS!!!!! Once I get my clutch im going to be hunting you guys down!!

Thats a 3.94 then. You can swap in a 3.55 (from a neon) that will load up the motor just a bit more and help with lauches. Hahn gave it a shot many years ago and it helped him out quite a bit. Just a thought for ya depending on the amount of time you have for the season.

Cool... way to go guys! Awesome results for the equipement used.

One question- what size slicks were on the car with the 11 sec. pass?

Hey trev,
whats the purpose of the "Split second Map voltage clamp" I mean since you guys had a 95,obd-I.

95 is OBD-II. Just look at the comm port. The 95 OBD II was the early ECU parameters and didnt have all the functionality of the OBD II parameters introduced in 96. Mitsu/Chry were way behind in the OBD II design compared to ford and Chevy.

He probably ran a voltage clamp for redundancy.

95 is obd-I, but has both ports. I was talking to Corbin about this because when hooking up a OBD-II diagnostic tool, the port gives no reading. We do have both OBD-I and II ports though...

You may be right and the ECU having certain OBD-II parameters, but I know for sure emissions can not plug into my car like any other OBD-II vehicle.

So not only do you try to rob Terry's name, but now you're smarter than him too LOLz

Umm, this thread is uber cool...more vids? You should break into the 10's before selling it ;)

it ;)

Did not mean any disrespect in my response, simply explaining how Corbin broke it down and from experience with my car...

With that said, no smartass comments are necessary here ^.^. Save them for a PM.

Not sure what would happen with out the clamp on this car, the last one I did was a 96 and it would throw a check engine light and the car would bog when it got under boost. Even though its a 95 I can still use my OBD2 scanner and read the codes.

My car can hook up to an OBD-II scantool with no problems...

Hmm... well if im wrong, I apologize for my ignorance Terry. I know when I went to autozone to use their OBD-II scantool they read nothing on the screen, as in it would not boot-up. Also, the emissions could not plug in either. I was under the impression that we were still OBD-I...

Wow, congrats guys, I knew you would be in the 11's and knockin on 10's door.

How come you plan on selling now? Got it to where you wanted to be? I think you should push to beat Hahn's record. That would be awesome. You wouldn't need to do much more I would think. Just more practice driving and maybe strengthen some of your drivetrain components.

That would be Paul, not Terry.

At this point it begins to be an even bigger money pit and he loves his 1st Gen AWD which has been on hold since he started this project. He should get just enough money out of this car to buy a built tranny for his AWD, which is a huge money pit of its own.

Yeah but my original post was in response to Terry's post...

Ah ok. You had Paul's post quoted so that's who I thought you were talking to.

I probably missed it, but what are you using to tune your car again? MSnS?

Actually, I just worked on a 95 talon last week that had only an obd-I connector. You could pull the codes by doing the key dance and the codes given were obd-I codes. I think the early 95 was obd-I and had a midyear change over to the obd-II.
