sheesh how much cash do you have into your car? I think you might want to upgrade to at least 550 cc injectors sometime in the future. Looks good though. You gotta take it to a track and post a time slip on here.
he's got 2 injectors per cylinder, so he's way above 550cc injectors dude. Good luck siue, been looking forward to this moment

My question is how do you do several pulls on a dyno and call it "untuned". If you did more than one baseline pull, which you did then it is not "untuned".

we weren't tuning that day. didn't touch the portfuler box, cam gears, or timing. we only had enough time to tune the boost controller. the greddy spec II took awhile to tune.

in effect. its untuned. i think i know when a car is tuned or not. don't be an ass just because you can be.

First of all, how the heck did you spend all your time "tuning" a boost controller. Second of all you say you know when a car is tuned or not but yet you made this post on 2GNT(and I quote):

well, right now because i have a ported and polished head, my 20g doesn't hit full spool till 4500rpm which is why im going twith the larger turbo. my guess is that with a larger turbo the head will fill with air faster so my spool should go down.

I'm not being an ass here, just pointing out that people don't spend all day at the dyno setting a boost controller. You made 337hp tuned deal with it. Make more hp but please don't make more excuses.

I think the whole problem is the portfueler... Why would you spend the money for a tuned(?) box and secondary injectors when you can just get a standalone with bigger (4) injectors and tune it based on your setup?

I think it is a waste of money :thumbdown

jesus youre an idiot. i didn't spend all day at the dyno, i spent 2 hours. a lot of that time was running to autozone to get a new lower radiator hose and i didn't even pay for the dyno time. obx radiator hoses suck. haha It was my first time dealing with an electronic boost controller and it took me some time to get it figured out.

We wanted to mess with the fuel maps but didn't because honestly, we didn't understand it which is why im going to HRC on Feb. 3rd for a good tuning. During the dyno runs we did make, we are only getting a baseline and making sure the AFR's were correct for around town driving. Anytime I make a change, I go back to the dyno.

Again its not tuned you moron. The map that is on the portfuler is the base map HRC configures for you, which still needs to be tuned. The cam gears haven't been touched yet and still rest at their manu's position.

We also never got to up the boost past 21lbs because I wanted race gas, the car will take up to 27lbs of booost. So how is the car tuned for its full potential?

So again, exactly how is the car tuned?

Im done with this discussion. You need to quit worrying about what other people do with their cars and start working on your own. You need to stop coming in the NT/ Turbo section and be an ass when you post. You are a classic example of the 4g63 asshole that nobody likes.
