it sat in my dads shop for 1.5 years. back from when i turboed a 420a.
its sitting at 4lbs instead of 0. any way to calibrate it? i dont think so ### its spring driven and theres no way to open it but thats why im asking. maybe someone else has done this.
i know the vac is off and boost. it says im idling at 10 now. the sunpro i was using was accurate, it read 19-21 on idle. max booost of 11 or 12psi.
should i get another or go with a different brand? i used this thing literally 10 minutes in the 420a. then it sat. it was never dropped. POS

Grab a new one would cost just as much to send it back to recalibrate it, I would get a better brand. You would have to drill a hole in the back and adjust the dial I think is how they adjust em.

i took the sunpro apart. it didnt make it LOL. but all i wanted to see was how it worked. i would be surprised if they can cal it. that spring is very sensitive. ah well, ordered a new one an hour ago, along with an oil pressure guage. cant wait for the 1000 mile mark. only 890 more to go then i can order up about 4500 in parts and have a nice, fast car..... with a working boost guage LOL
