Hello everyone. So I just finished installing my glowshift gauges - boost, oil pressure, water temp. They all light up but the boost comes on a few seconds first then the oil and water temp light up and do the sweep effect. Is that normal since the boost gauge doesn't do the full sweep thing? Thanks

in my buddys evo they did the exact same thing, he found a thread that said it was common. it has to do with the way its wired together.

I assume your boost gauge is mechanical and the water and oil are electrical? Only the electrical gauges will sweep. I have prosports and they are pretty much the same. Boost gauge comes on, then a second later, oil pressure comes on and sweeps.

You are correct my friend. Yeah I just figured it was normal but just wanted to make sure after spending the $$ on them. Rather be safe than sorry.

Yea I have the glowshift boost and wideband as well as far as far as I kno the other guages should do the sweep the boost gauge dosnt

thats normal for glowshift gauges. i have oil pressure, mechanical boost/vacuum, voltage and fuel pressure in my car. i will point out that the fuel pressure gauge color button likes to stop working after a while so it sticks on one color. the pressure sensors for the fuel and oil pressure sensors go bad after a while. but overall the gauges are a good product. just a few quirks to work out.
