no its a wrx so i have a little bit of work to do its still the STI engine and i am doing research into how hard its goin to be to do some engine work to this thing. never worked on boxer engines before kinda clueless . but i figured it would be interesting i wanted an evo but got this for around 7k cheaper... oh well just couldnt take the 420a anymore.

Actually, the STI has a 2.5 liter engine; the wrx has a 2.0 liter.

Your first mod should be a high-flow up-pipe (exhaust). After that, a boost controller.

As mentioned above, the STi has an EJ25T (2.5 liter) while the WRX has an EJ20T (2.0 liter).

Scooby's are great cars. I'm looking for a wrx as my daily driver right now. I'm not modding it (because I want the warranty). However, I read on wrxtuners that they can't handle more than 300 hp. The tranny and internals don't like that. That's the regular wrx of course, not the sti. Of course, I think you should have kept the dsm and build it like i'm doing.

N/T owner to the core. They just don't learn to start at the top, and then think they can build up to it.

thats why i said research first i will learn its just taking me a little while, ive actually not hadnt had a chance to actually look the books over in detail as of yet but i have information being sent to me . yeah i appologize its not a 2.5. im not goin to do anything to it for a while because i dont want to encounter the same mishaps that i did with my eclipse i.e. throwing it together and never having it right. but i do miss the eclipse i liked the shift pattern a lot more but this has more power and a smoother ride so i guess its even.
