I spoke to Jason at Wier Automotive. The plan is to run E85, the cost of the gas is so much cheaper. Ok these are the things that we could use.


1600 CC injectors(4)
FMIC 4" thick, large core
Fuel Press. Regulator
Aeromotive Pump (eliminator or equivilant )
Pre/ Post filters for pump

Will keep you posted as things arise. I am so grateful for the overwhelming reponse and the way the DSM community has pulled together. I still believe in miracles!

Trip to the Zimmer Cancer Center was emotional. She will be on 2 chemo meds. Cisplatin and Topotecan for the first week. She will receive these meds Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. She will have a 2 and a half week break. They will check the response then go to an experimental drug that stop blood vessels from forming. She is in alot of pain and found out today about this build and cried at all the responses you guys and gals made about her. Thank you for that! It made her feel great.

It has been brought up that Import Tuner magazine has caught wind of her story and is interested in doing a write up on this and how the DSM community and vendors are willing to help her obtain her goal.

I met Wendy and Brad through Steve93talon of whom I consider one of my best friends.

For those of you who know Steve - he is a tough critic, but he NEVER had a bad word to say about these two...EVER. Well, after finally meeting them in person it all came together.

I had the pleasure of hanging with them all weekend while in PA and at the shootout. I didnt want them to go home selfishly enough.

Folks, they are as REAL as they come - I envy their relationship and wish nothing but the best for them.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been texting, IMing, and talking to Brad and Wendy all week. The response from the community has really helped them more than you can imagine.

I've known Wendy for over 10 years, from the AOL car chat days, long before there were DSM forums. We became very good friends over the years and even refer to each other as brother and sister, partly because of our common love of cars/DSMs, and also because our birthdays are 2 days apart on the same year, we're both left handed, and other similarities. After knowing her and Brad online for all these years, I was finally able to meet them in person a few months ago when I was in NC for a work trip. I met their 3 boys and we had dinner together. I truly consider them family.

When I was down there, we started talking about the e-town shootout, and they talked about how they'd love to come up. Last Saturday, they made the drive from NC to PA for the weekend. They came to my house for a BBQ on Saturday night, met my wife, son, and friends, and had a great time. Then Sunday we all made the trip to the e-town race. We met alot of the big names, who are all very down to earth, she was thrilled to have her pic taken with Kiggly.

Then Sunday night we went down to Philly for cheesesteaks and some sightseeing. Throughout the weekend, we had conversations about how much she's looking forward to getting back to normal. She never once sounded angry or bitter or whiny, she's just dealing with it and facing it head on.

Then, Tuesday morning I got a text from Brad saying they'd taken her to the hospital, later he updated me that it had spread to her liver. To hear his voice trembling as he told me he was losing his best friend was almost too much for me to bear.

I'm offering them my original valve cover from my '93 Talon. It was the first DSM I ever owned, I had it almost 10 years before it was totalled when a drunk driver pulled out in front of me. This VC is about all that's left of the car at this point, I was planning on keeping it in case I ever got another DSM. I'll be having JNZ powdercoat it to contribute to the build.

We're all pulling for you, sis.

I am very sorry to hear about this, but at the same time it is wonderful that vendors and fellow dsm'rs are doing what they can to make this a reality for her, providing hope in a time when it is most needed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and your wife.

It would be nice if the tuner magazine picks this up, so that her story will be shared with the masses and so that the selfless acts of others will be even further recognized.
