I do feel your pain. I teared up when I read your post. My wife(Tiffany 26) was diagnosed with cancer 3 months ago. Tomorrow will be her 5th bi-weekly treatment and as you know the treatment is so hard. We keep on though because there is some hope that something will work and beat the disease. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Just don't forget about yourself. My wife tells me all the time that it's harder on me and her family than it is on her. Not really sure I believe her, but it is very hard on the family.

I wanted to post a Bio on Wendy.

Wendy is 35 and a Wilmington native. She is not only beautiful but smart too. She likes to work on cars. She races her car and has backed it up in the past. She run one of the local fastest mustangs in the area. She launched the car in second gear, what a spectical! She has mentored the new comers to the scene wanting to make their car fast. Have posted several technical answers on this board. What else can I ask for in a wife.

Thank you too all those that have really chipped in and this is going to be a quick build. I have gotten a GT4069r, sheetmetal intake, dyno time, rods, possible tubular manifold for T4, and I havent checked all the boards yet.

I hope all goes well with your wife and I too am sorry to hear that. You know I havent given up hope but I am also am realistic. She is a fighter.

If you want to get something together to raise money that would be great. I contacted the local Mitsu dealer and I think they may be doing a fund raiser also.

I just found out we are getting a fully built motor from Carl (Good Virations). I just cannot express enough thanks to you guys. I must admit I dont think I can keep it under wraps much longer. Goal is to just tell her the car is getting a cage when Jason and Brian pick it up this weekend. Wendy is on the computer alot and she has Chemo starting tomorrow so maybe I can keep her off the car forums. Yeah right!!!! Heh

We would like to help out wherever we can with this. Can you post up a summary of the car and also what is arranged so far? This will help whoever is trying to contribute figure out where they can fill in the gaps better. Are you trying to make it to E-Town for a particular race? I know last year the conditions were good for the Outlaw Street FWD Shootout, which happens this year on Oct 3rd and 4th. 2nd Annual Airwerks by Borg Warner Turbo Systems $10,000 Outlaw Street FWD Shootout - Honda-Tech

I wish I had more time to talk when we met on Sunday. I'm always a little wound up on race days and I usually just try to stay focused to keep on top of getting the car down the track.

Please keep the prayers coming. She starts double chemo today to get the tumors to stop growing in her liver. She has been in some serious pain. It was explained to me that is like the hard shell on a sausage and it is growing (mulitlying in the liver ) and the pain is from the pressure. I have a list of things I have been donated so far:

Kiggly Racing ( Kevin and Erin K.) Are sending T-shirts for Wendy. Also wanting to fill in with some things that are needed in the build. Wendy has always watched what Kevin was doing so when our 2 year old got old enough to go to the track and try some things out. She loves the FWD!!!

Boost Boy and Girls Racing- Spoke to MIR owner to get the event in Nov. covered for her and hotel reservations.

JNZ tuning- wanting to help in anyway they can.

A special thanks to her online brother Steve ( steve93talon). Steve has always been there for Wendy when she had a question or just wanted to chat about whatever. He has kept her on the right path to obtain her goals. We spent the weekend in PA with them and went to jersey for the Showdown. Wendy had a great time!

I'm glad to see the community is getting together for this good cause. Im not sure what this could do but ill put up my V45 Magna up for you guys if it could help out in any way shape or form.

I spoke to Jason at Wier Automotive. The plan is to run E85, the cost of the gas is so much cheaper. Ok these are the things that we could use.


1600 CC injectors(4)
FMIC 4" thick, large core
Fuel Press. Regulator
Aeromotive Pump (eliminator or equivilant )
Pre/ Post filters for pump

Will keep you posted as things arise. I am so grateful for the overwhelming reponse and the way the DSM community has pulled together. I still believe in miracles!
