genuine big 16g+safc2+550cc

ok so i just found out i had a big 16g this whole time after searching the serial number.so now i want to start on my tuning to make it work to the best of its ability for now till i can get advanced equipment..ok so im getting an safc2.and hopefully some 550cc but they are high resistance so im searching for low resistance.i have an denso 190 out of an evo 8.will that pump be sufficient enough for low boost settings for now?.. untuned im hitting 15psi as it stops at 12psi then starts to build up to 15..how much should i turn it up on a good tune..and will those 550cc.hacked 1g maf.190.and safc2.get me into low 13s which is my goal before i break 12s.

Idk the lasers, is it a fwd? ### if so, my buddy has a gst (yes a 2g and little heavier), but is far more modded. Running 650s, big 16g ported everything, full exhaust, dsmlink and afpr. He was just hitting low 13s....what im getting at is TRACTION. He spun all day long so he was unable to hit his goal. You might be able to if you hook up well, but its all in the traction with fwd...

yea its fwd but i was planning on running it at import face off on the 6th with some beafy 245/45/16s for a little more traction..but i want an ok tune to test out and tweak it up while im there with a data logger.

go with something bigger than 550s if you can.

You'll be ok with 550's on race gas. What wideband are you using? What logger?

im planning on using my friends innovative wide band..and a palm llc data logger..

i had a similar setup. rc 550's 2g mas, and a 255 instead of a 190. e3 16g i was runnin 23 pounds all day long. i had a 3 inch ext. instead of 2.5.

wow 25psi was that with and upgraded headgasket and arp head studs???..i heard i can only run 18psi with out head gasket and head studs?
