Ok. So i got my auto - 5 speed swap in. car runs like complete shit. i got the wideband re-calibrated. didn't help a bit. it idles like crap. and the wideband is EVERYWHERE. im possibly thinking the plugs are completely shot? or if somehow the injectors are flooding my car? LOL i have no idea whats going on. the car ran great before the swap.. (the motor was upside down for 1 1/2 months with the plugs in it) so im thinking the plugs are shot from oil resting on them... now thats its ran for a good 2 days i noticed its now puking a stream of gas out the muffler... i actually got pulled over for excessive smoke. :thumb:
ive checked for boost leaks, and there are non. motor only has 2,400 miles on it.
when i looked in the cylinders, i could see the pistons were all soaked with gas. :confused:

If your dumping enoug fuel to have it literally come out the exhaust in liquid form then you cant expect the wideband to give you any kind of reliable reading. I dont really see how that is possible though.

What size injectors are you running? If anything other than stock 450s then you need to adjust your global properly.

Your profile says you have 850s but your global is set to 0. That is way wrong. Fix thay and Im sure you will see an immediate improvement.

Set your global to -47 and dead time to 330 and see what that does for you.
 
i have the stock 390's the 850's were on my wishlist LOL.

and i dont get payed till tomorrow so i decided to post all this to see if anyone may have had the same situation. im buying NGK iridiums tomorrow
 
ok cool. then ill save my money. LOL. yea i just re-set it to 5 degress before.

yeah because i had the car running with the simulation wideband for 4 months without any issues. and i never changed any of it when i put the motor back in.
 
That could be the issue if it has failed. Also you say it smothes out when you rev the engine. Are you sure you have a good boost/vacuum source to the fpr? Do you have another that you can try?

Also im not familiar with simulating a narrowband off of an LC1. But are you sure you have the switchover set properly
 
Yea I dont know if I would use that. Your car your choice. But that thing is so cheap I would never trust it to control pressure properly for a boosted car. If I were you and on a budget I would look in the classifieds here and on link forums for a used afpr or stock one.

If you have a spare then just toss that on. Please dont waste your money on that JDM pos. Save up for a good proven one. The fuel system is way too critical to take chances with.
 
ok. ill start looking for one.

F***!! this is getting ridiculous. i did the plugs. it ran a tiny bit better. as soon as i got it past 3k rpms. it just fell on its face. sputtering horribly. i cant go past %30 throttle or it just starts to sputter. and the wideband is still everywhere. when i start sputtering DSMlink says im at 12,500 rpms??? then goes between 12,500-5000 RPM's. i am SO frustrated. ive put SO much money in my car including a new motor, trans. and its just F****ing me.
