Hello guys, I broke my tranny on my 2g. I will do a fwd to AWD conversion but I still missing some parts that are not easy to find in Europe. I recently bought an AWD tranny my question will be how to use it in Fwd mode till I don't find all the parts. I read that I have to lock the center diff. What will be the best option for do it?

Thanks

Yes you have to lock the center diff. The only reversible way to do so is install a viscous coupler eliminator. I suppose you could also install a spool then swap it back but that's a lot more work. You will need awd axles also.
