Does anyone know if there's a list that exists that basically lists out each and every gasket that will need to be replaced when doing a full engine rebuild? Would need to be a 2g 7bolt.
I found this kit:
Mitsubishi Eclipse Engine Gasket Set Complete at 1AAuto.com with how-to installation video.
but I dont know how legit it is, especially with the alternative from Epsi being $267 EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts
anyone have any input on either kit?
Also was thinking on a 1g rod/Evo piston combo. Was it ever verified whether or not the evo piston maintains the standard 8.5:1 CR or raises it to 8.8:1? ive found threads going back and forth with no winner. Id like to bump up compression a tiny bit to give the car a bit more pep since its just a DD, but also iirc the Evo pistons are still stronger than the 2g's so youd still get a nice bump in headroom for modding, should I ever decide to do so.
I spun a bearing yesterday and will need to do a full overhaul. So much shavings in the oil, theres no way id get away without absolutely cleaning every part.
