I've got a 1991 Talon TSI AWD. My injectors are not fireing and my fuel pump is not coming on. I have checked the MPI fuse and MPI relay they checked out fine. The ECU came out of a running car, the fuel pump is a new walbor 255, and the injectors are new. There is source voltage at the injectors so the resistor block is good but the ECU is not sending a ground to complete the circut.

Any ideas??

this may sound stupid but it happened to my friend. i saw that you have a new 255 fuel pump, did you remember to connect it back???

Hey, anything can happen but yea its hooked up. We put a Datalogger on it and we can actuate it with that.

Did you inspect the ECU before you put it in your car?
visually it looks good, and no smells. dont have a running car to put it in so i really cant be 100% sure that it is good. I would dout that is is bad though

Check it just for piece of mind. And so that we can say I KNOW for a fact (Because I checked it) that my ECU is good.
I'm not saying it's not the ECU but i think its very unlikely. The ECU that i pulled out had the same problem and a few others. That makes me think that there is a wireing problem.

yeah youre going to have to check all your grounds. are you sure your pump is not coming on??? how did this exactly happen. did it just not turn on one day? or is it not turning on after you installed the pump???

The pump is not comeing on with the key. I can make it come on with a scanner. The car was not running when i baught it.
