fuel rail

I was installing my new aeromotive afpr today, and I broke off a bolt in the fuel rail. I'm already getting bigger injectors, so rather than drill it out I think im just going to go for a bigger one. Any suggestions on good ones?? My current mods are evo3 16g, greddy fmic, walbro 255 fuel pump, wideband, dsmlink, and soon to be bigger injectors, also not sure which injectors to go with yet.

Just use an extractor. It'll get it out no problem

You broke one of the feed/return bolts off? Idk, check in the classifieds. Plenty have come up lately

You don't need a bigger rail unless you are making some big power. The stock rail will go a long way. I would just extract the bolt, most likely it will back right out if you can find a way to turn it.

I couldn't tell you the exact number, but i remember back in the day someone did a comparison and inside diameter of the stock rail was as big or bigger than most aftermarkets.

Just fix or get a stock fuel rail. They are a dime a dozen and flow fine unless you are making serious power. If looks are a concern have it powder coated. Put the money for a fancy rail to use somewhere else.

+1 on stock rail. Used ones are cheap if you can't get the bolt out. Usually about $10

Dont waste your money as others have said....spend it on something which is a worthwhile upgrade.

I'm on a stock rail and E85.. No issues there. -10AN Feed.

well I guess its not as important as I thought. I thought bigger injectors/fuel pump wouldn't see the full effect without a bigger rail. I guess ill try extracting it tomorrow and see how that goes. Unfortunantly I cannot look at the classifieds as I am still a probationary member.
