After my car sat for a couple days after vacation I went out to start it and it didn't start at the first crank and after about 5 seconds I cranked it again and slowly started but was running very lean. I thought since it sat for a couple days it was just the fuel pump getting all the fuel through the system again. After driving around for a couple mins the car was running very lean and the gauge was fluctuating a lot, more than usual. i checked the gauge wires to make sure it didn't break the solder and it everything was strongly intact. The next day the same thing happened, so I drove around and stopped and turned it off and waited about 5 mins and cranked it again to see if I would have the same problem. The car started almost instantly. the next day comes around and the same problems occur with running lean till warm up. I had the filter replaced at 95k and its at 125k now I dont know whether its the pump or filter.
I can still hit 20psi boost without any fuel cut and a/f staying high ideal to rich
After warm up the car doesnt bog and can run smoothly through all the gears.
When at idle at first start up my idle is 750 but when I give it gas idle goes down and the more gas I give it will shut off.
During warm up I run lean till it warms up.
Any thoughts or ideas of what it can be? I've narrowed it down to my fuel pump but not for sure. I've heard thoughts of pulled timing, filter, plugs, etc...
