Fuel Pump Install Help Please

Hello, I was going to be doing a walbro 255 fuel pump upgrade, but as I was taking out the back seats, I'm suppose to disconnect this cable, but I can't get it to disconnect...
I did find out there's a clip on one side, but I can't get to the other side... It seems as though its connected to the frame somehow, I just can't get to the other side... The whole cable just won't move, I can't get my hands around it.. If anyone knows what to do, please help me, I'd really appreciate it!
I have a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GST Convertible. The whole fuel pump system should be stock, I just can't get this cable out...

The one they show in the pictures doesn't use the same cable I'm stuck trying to get off...

I just went and pulled up my back seat to verify what I'm looking at. That connector is held in the back with a clip to the frame. Take a screwdriver, wedge it underneath and pry it out. That's what I did and I left it out. I never popped it back in.

Good thing I checked. I just found out I left the sound deadener underneath the seat intact. Between checking and posting this I managed to remove it all, about 10lbs worth. Ridiculous.

Its probably just stuck. I dont remember mine having any kind of "mount" to where it sticks in that place, it was just kind of chillin there. Pry on it and pull on it, itll free up.

^^^^ beat me to it. I guess there is some kind of mount.

....if your having this much trouble with just a wire connector good luck with the fuel pump. Suggest you read up and take your time.
