Im having a strange issue. I have a 2g AWD with a 6bolt swap and cannot get my car to start anymore. My car was working perfectly fine one day, and then the next it would not start. It would crank and crank and then start for like 2 seconds then die. So i figured maybe the fuel pump went out, so I got a walbro 255 and put that in.
Now all my car will do is crank over and over and over. I pulled the plugs, and they are not soaked, they are still sparking. I changed the fuel filter to see if maybe it was clogged, still nothing. I took the fuel pump out to see if maybe I installed the o ring wrong, but it is installed right.
I checked the CAS to see if maybe it was still working. You can hear the injectors fire. So the only thing I can come up with is maybe a fuel pressure issue.
Do you think it could be a bad FPR possibly? I am about to change the o-rings on my injectors just in case they are leaking.

Im thinking about getting either an AFPR or making my own pressure tester to see whats going on. Do you guys have any thoughts on what the issue could be?

I put my buddys battery in my car, because my battery is shot. His battery works perfectly fine, and when we put it in my car it died within 7 cranks of the engine....

Im going to buy a coolant temp sensor tonight and this weekend we are going to re-time the cas. Do you have to time the cps?

what's the cps? crank sensor? if so then no. I think the cam sensor does tho if it's not to be in a fixed position. dunno much about 2g specific stuff.

Alright a little update. I've taken off my fuel rail today to physically see if the injectors were firing, which they were. So now the only thing I can think of is maybe im not getting enough spark or my timing is off.

The ECU i just bought has DSMlink in it. Im assuming that would work, I havent really got to mess around with it though so I dont know where it would be.

Alright I went into DSMlink and my coolant sensor was reading -40. I unhooked it and it stayed at -40. So we started checking the wires and one of the wires that went to the sensor was broke. The person who owned this car before my just twisted the wires together and put electrical tape on it. So she fires up now!!! Thanks for all the help guys.
