1: First i am going to be running an EVO 3 16g with a walbro 255, it was my understanding that with a 255 i will be needing a aftermarket AFPR.... I am a little short on funds so i am looking for the cheapest route......i found a couple that seemed reasonably priced....

EDIT:

I found this one also....

I was wondering if anyone had some pro's and con's of using an AFPR like these?? Does anyone have a rexommendation on a cheap AFPR?

2: How do you find the duty cycle for your injectors?? I was wondering if anyone knew on how much boost would over run the 450's? What can happen from over-running injectors? Like i said earlier i will be running the EVO III B16g with a walbro 255... I was thinking of putting the boost around 14 since i dont have anyway to control my fuel.... Does anyone think i could possibly run more boost than 14? Or maybe will that be too much?? Thanks for anybody's advice....

If your looking cheap, buy the B&M. It bolts right on the stock fuel rail with not much modification at all. It also will not let the pressure go under stock fuel presssure, you can only turn it up.

You should be fine up to about 18PSI or so with the 450's. I wouldn't run much more than that though, unless you are at a very high elevation. Then a couple more pounds won't hurt.

Could i run 18 psi without a fuel controller (S-AFC, Dsmlink) safely and on my current setup?? Will i have to worry about engine damage at 18 psi?? I here that too much boost can cause excessive pressure on the engine internals, is this tue? If so how can i prevent it?

Yes, you will overrun your stock fpr. I wouldn't go cheap with an afpr, because cheap ones tend to not raise a true 1:1 ratio. Import Evolution sells a complete kit afpr, mounting piece, detail instructions, and everything else you need for complete installation; for $195

Hopes this helps, Stay boostin

Actually, this isn't recommended. On stock fuel injectors and an aftermarket pump, the EVO III shouldn't be run above 15-16 psi unless you want to run into serious knock and potentially cause engine damage. For the original poster, a 255 is unnecessary for this turbo as a 190 will not require an AFPR (although there is very minor overrun) and is good enough to get you into the 11's with proper supporting mods.

Don't necessarily buy the biggest parts. Rather take the time to size things correctly to your application and needs while still allowing room for future growth. Don't forget a logger so you can look for dips in timing that will indicate knock.

You'll wash fuel past the piston rings, dilute your oil and kill performance from running pig rich.

i just got all the supporting mods before i touched anything its easier, plus the after you pute all your mods in all at ounce you notice a huge difference.
