Fuel lab AFPR install

I got the fuel lab install kit. Im Having a hard time finding a good mounting location for it. I have A/C and cruise control and whatever else would be in the way. Can I remove ALL the factory regulators soleniods on the top drivers side firewall to make room for the AFPR? I already removed all EGR and emmissions related vac lines.

There is a bracket next to the cruise on the passenger side. Its right above the fuel filter. That's where I mounted my buddies.

YOu can remove them but it will throw a cel unles u have ecmlink. I put mine right about my intake mani. Tight fit on a 2g but you shouldn't have any Problems

On a 1g you won't throw a code for removing the solenoids. Mine are all deleted on all my 1gs.

Looks like he has a 1g, he won't throw any CELs. I removed my fuel pressure solenoid and have it bolted in that location. The solenoid is supposed to help with hot starts when gas turns into vapor but I have had no issues with the car firing up on the 1st or 2nd crank even when it's extremely hot out and the engine has been ran hard. So you shouldn't have any ill-effects if you remove it.

ok great I just found a sweet spot then.

And can I use Link to set base fuel pressure? leave the engine off and turn on the fuel pump to set pressure?

I have link BTW...

UPDATE:

I used link to get base fuel dialed in with the car off. 37 psi. easy. Then I turned the car on, pulled the vac line and it read exactly the same. Everything is 100% now.

Finally I can start logging again.
