fuel injectors resistance

I read this in another forum on this site but couldn't ask my question because of posting restrictions. So here it goes, when I turbo my 4g64 and swap out my stock ecu with a 2g t-ecu, that ecu will expect low impedance 450cc right? It will expect whatever stock size and stock impedance injectors are on 2g turbo eclipse correct?

Yes. The ecu will have low impedance drivers which means the car needs a resistor pack.

What exactly is the purpose of the resistor pack?

To provide current limiting so that the 2-3 ohm injectors don't fry the ECU injector drivers.
On the N/T cars the injectors have much higher impedance and don't need the resistor pack.
