F/A says around 15:1 at cruise and idle but if you notice when I "get on it" my mixture is almost perfect 10:1 any suggestions?

I dont have widband yet but planning to get one...

Is this not normal? You'd be knocking like crazy if you held a 15:1 at wot. 11:1 @ wot is probably the best tune you could get off of 94 octane pump gas. Correct if I'm wrong please.

And get a MTX-L wideband.

Ya, that's because your running 10:1. What exactly is your question?? If your running 10:1 all the way to 7 grand with no knock at WOT, then I'm guessing she's pullin pretty good.

You shouldn't take the AFRatioEst as a "true" number, as it's not. Please do not try and tune off of this value. You need a wideband to do so.

Stay away from the AEM since you have link. They do not play well together. Get the MTX-L as recommended above.

Once you get a wideband installed and logged, then come back and post more logs and we can give you real advice.

10:1 all the way across seems like a maxed value.

This is probably correct. I can't read the log as I'm at work, so I can't tell if he's pulling any fuel or not, but since the stock A/F in open loop is 9.5:1 than I'd say your right.

OP- For what it's worth. I have the AEM unit and it reads just fine in Link, however, I may just be lucky. With that said, if I were to do it all over again, I would have gone with something that is KNOWN to work with link 100% of the time. $200 is a lot to spend on something that may not be loggable. I would HATE to tune by the AEM gauge alone.:barf:

It's not actually "sticking" at 10:1, at least that I see. I see him getting on it and his AFRatioEst value going fairly slowly from 10.4 down to 9.9 (normal), so I'm guessing this is what the OP means.

I could see if he had an AEM wideband logged that it'd stick at 10:1 as I believe that's where the unit maxes out on the rich side.

Innovative MTXL or LC1 is great for logging. Whatever you do, don't go AEM UEGO. I wish I hadn't.

You want to get as close to 11.1:1 as possible without knocking.
