1G Front sub frame bushings installed now steering link wont line up

Whats up every one im having a problem with the steering/shaft/joint what ever you want to call it on my 91 gst. I picked up a set of prothane subframe bushings installed like normal an now I cant get the bolt to go threw the joint an rack gear the line up mark is about 1/3 inch off ill get some pics up soon. Any help would be great thanks.

Heres some pics. It just needs about 1/4 inch to fit but I dont wanna pull/bend/force any thing.

Grab it and work a little harder.

If you can't get it, try unbolting the steering column inside the car and pushing it down a bit. You should be able to just keep wiggling it and pushing it down until it goes though.
