front motor mount issue...please help

i just bouth the set of avid racing billet aluminum motor mounts and the front mount they sent looks like this

but the 1 in my 91 talon fwd doesnt have the bracket or that hook kind of thing there that you see to the left of the picture. mine is flat on the bottom and bolts on top of the crossmember and is like perpendicular to the motor, as opposed to this 1 that seems like they mount it parallel.

does any body know why they are diffrent and if i can make this work? and or if i have to get a diffrent mount or something.

That is because that is an awd front motor mount, you have fwd motor mounts and they are different due to the different subframes.

oo...is there anyway to make this one work or do i have to just try to exchange it or something

Um...i guess if its not fitting correctly, call Avid or whoever you got the part from and talk to them. They might of gave you the wrong one.

Yea be careful when ordering parts, a lot of them just dont swap around.
