Front dowel WTF

Guys how do I fix this? Why would someone....
I take it I need a new roller? That hole is threaded. For some reason.

That looks like a repair that someone made because the ear broke off.... I have the issue myself, and have been getting ready to make a piece off the motor mount kinda like what that looks like...but better.... Clean that crap off there, and see if it looks like this might be the case. Here are 2 threads to kinda guide you along/see what I am talking about:

Right. I'm just throwing it back together and selling it. I'm sick of this car, I need a turbo one to have these problems.
