Free logging software for a 2g?

Is their free logging software for a 2g turbo? I searched and it came up for everything for pre obdII. Im not looking to spend alot of money, just wondering if their was free software for the 2g's. Thanks, sorry if I missed a topic when I searched.

There is NO DIY cable for a 2G that will work. I would suggest running the software with a Palm because the Laptop logger program is not well suited.

Does that mean I need to buy the 85 dollar cable from them? Or is their cheaper ones out thier that will work?
