Can anyone give me a link where I can download free software. My palm took a crap and I lost my pocketlogger software and I bought it off someone else. I don't think I can get the software from pocketlogger

you actually can get the software from pocketlogger. you will need the serial number from the cable and the email address of the person that bought the cable. you will also have to pay a $20 'transfer' to get them to email you the software.

You can try to use Palm'N'Stein... i think it is free. i honestly dont know too much about logging in a 2g, but a couple people i have talked to say that Palm'N'Stein is not as good as the pocketlogger software.

since you have a 2g, you will need the OBDII connector. i could make you a cable for a 1g, but have never put one together for the 2g.

my suggestion:
check out www.dsmloggers.com! the guy who runs the site is really cool and is on AOL instant messenger all the time under the name dsmloggers. if you only need the cable or cable/software, shoot him an instant message over AIM and inquire about just getting those things without a PDA.

other than that, you are pretty much stuck to buying one from someone like pocketlogger and paying way to much for it.

if someone could get me a schematic for making a 2g datalogger cable and you can get me an OBDII connector, I would be happy to try to put one together for you. Best bet is dsmloggers.com, though!
