I'm looking to upgrade my 2g exhaust manifold. There are so many options when it comes to exhaust mani's and I'm not sure where to start or which will benefit me the most. Im running a Frank 3 20G. I'd like to stay in the $200-$400 range new or used. Can anyone recommend a few?

I like my Forced Performance(FP) manifold. If you don't mind a tubular manifold, the DNP is also pretty popular, and great quality.

FP, DNP, SFP, ERL....there are a ton of options.

Exactly my point LOL. I was just curious cause heat transfer is killing my AIT's right now. I didn't know if i should stick with a traditional mani or run with a tubular.

Yes, they get hot. And they crack. I'd go with the FP mani. English racing said that they switched out an evo 3 mani for the fp mani and gained an addition 7hp without touching anything. And it's cast so the likelihood of it cracking is slim to none.

If under hood temps is a problem right now. I cant say switching to manifolds is going to help much... But if you are looking for a new one, go with the FP cast manifold. They don't get as hot as the tubular manifolds do. Usually you can catch them on sale twice a year for a big discount.

I got mine around christmas/new years time I believe. It was on sale new for $175 with gaskets.

What do you mean by mind a tubular? Are there downsides to one?

Stainless steel tubing is used for the runners. Most people ceramic coat and heat wrap them to keep under hood temps down.
