Here are the mods i have right now
3'' thermal catback with apexi dp with catalytic converter
Autometer gauges (boost, oil, water)

im planning on getting the following mods soon

Fp big t28 turbo
Fp exhaust manifold
dejon 3in intake piping (recirculating)
greddy type rz bov
punisment racing or vrsf fmic

my qustions is what fmic will work with the turbo?
I have no plans on raising the boost levels since im not do i need upgraded fuel mods to run the car right?
has anyone kept the factory fog lights on 2gb talon with an intercooler if so can you post some pics.
How can I relocate my front licsense plate?
Sorry I asked alot of question I'm a noobie and want to buy right the first time LOL :D
keep in mind this is my daily driver so i need it to run right.

Why are you dead-set on the T28 if you're going to be using a FMIC anyway? The main benefit of the T28 is having a direct bolt-on upgrade for a stock 2G car....once you add a FMIC you're free to use whatever you want.

In this situation I'd go Small 16G- better reliability, cheaper price tag, and better performance than the T28 and will fit any of the FMIC setups you've listed with the use of the proper j-pipe.

I thought if i went with a 16g i had to do more modification to fit the 2g then just putting a fmic on it? That's why i wanted to get the t28 so it would be an easily install. Is the t28 reliable?

Sure you'll have to mod the oil drain and coolant lines a bit....but that's nothing compared to trying to get the outlet piping on a turbo designed to face the passenger's side of the car to face the other direction.

That's true I just wanted the fp big t28 for two reasons the direct bolt on and for the sleeper look i think I'm still going with it and just make the fmic work somehow. And will it be reliable to run the car with mods above?

FP likely drop-ships orders from English Racing...I'd verify that they actually have the turbo on hand before ordering. Often the distributors are slow to update their websites once an item has been discontinued.

Lol english will tell you get evo 3 16g ecmlink fmic 1000cc injectors and e85 walbro 255 and call it a day. Same thing everyones does to there car to start. This will put you 300+whp all day everyday, all simple. Just order a 16g install kit from a vender. If you lived here I would install it all for you for a couple beers.:)

Damn i wish i was there LOL that would be awesome :) and i have been hearing that all over this website to get the evo 16g . I just dont know how to tune or anything about it if i did i would go all out LOL. I'm just trying to learn new things about my car and keep it running for a daily driver.

You don't have to tune in order to install a turbo.

Evo III 16G, either of the FMIC kits you mentioned above, and a 190lph fuel pump will allow you to run up to maybe 14-15psi on the stock injectors without a tune. Of course it's not recommended to attempt to up the boost level without logging to see if you're getting knock or you could do fatal damage to your engine.

I know you don't need to tune to install a turbo I just don't want to mess with the fuel system and mess up and blow up the engine. Also I'm not planning on raising the boost for awhile in fear of not doing it right. Later down the road I will but since I need to relay on this car I'm not trying to go to crazy. Thanks for the link very helpfully much appreciated. :thumb:

Well English racing got back with me and they no longer is selling it. :( Which means i meant go with the evo 3 16g after all.

You can try them and see if you can still get one.

If a t-28 is what you want and if you can still get it then do it. It's your car so do what you want. Everybody jumps off the big t-28 train very fast but it's a fun little turbo. If you want to keep the boost low you'll probably run into boost creep issues with the 16g

That's what i have read about the 16g and i wanted to avoid it. I have check that website out and i was thinking about getting it off there. I'm thinking it would be an awesome upgraded to what i have now.

It's an awesome upgrade for what it is. Down the road when you turn the boost up this thing packs a nice punch for how small of a turbo it is. I also run a punishment racing fmic with a ets t-25 pipe and it works well with this turbo but vrsf is cheap and a great kit as well.

You'll be back. After a few months of the t28 you'll be wanting more.
