found this project gsx. is it just me or asking a bit much for it?

asking way to much in my opinion and i emailed him and he said the car had typical eclipse rust. also i guess the turbo is bad too. so im thinking like 500 max.. just wondering how much people would offer.

it runs well with all the papers to prove the rebuild? and u got it for 500?!? i'd say no one will ever find that steal again.

got all the receipts and clean title and the car juss needs some tlc like some body work and there was a mouse in the engine bay and ate some wires but im fixing that day by day when i get out of work but other than thats its a steal.. and its my fault the mouse was in there where i parked it...the guy who i bought it off of is a friend from work and he had like 4 cars and his dad passed so he was just getting rid of the cars off his yard

well im pretty young at a measly 17 but the guy was really nice. he decided if i drove down and gave him a payment down he would hold the car for me until i got the rest so hopefully within the next month it should be in my driveway with the motor and trans getting dropped in ready for spring. but hey i guess nothing is really set yet but if all goes well ill have a pretty nice project going down, then i could have my GS my baby and first dsm and a sick a$$ gsx. wish me luck guys hope everything works out

So you already have an engine and trans that you can drop in it, or am I reading that wrong? Also is it a complete shell and does it come with the wheels pictured?

and yeah this would be a step up from that auto gst with the ricer taillights and yes that really.. bright interior

Haha ya much better than that GST. I'm actually kinda jealous . I don't know why I bought a GST shell. I guess the timing was just right. Oh well at least my new dsm will be both fast and reliable .

well i had a motor but i sold it it had bent valves or something not too sure. so now i have nothing. still havent finished the deal yet.. he was supposed to send me a few more pics and an address so i can get him some cash but nothing yet. i got a ticket though which took some of my money but if anyone has a running 6 or 7 bolt ready to swap lemme know. i got someone lined up to buy my current car, my 98 GS debating on wether or not to sell and get this one up and running asap or just stick it out and save. id be making a 300 dollar profit not much but.. its something.

The copper 2g AWD shell is mine. I do not have it listed anywhere forsale so I was just trying to help him out. I get 5-6 gsx's a month but I usually do ground-up builds on them. The copper one I did not finish as I'm in the process of completing another 2gB gsx right now that is going to be forsale aswell. I do all my own build work, paint work, ETC. Every one I get, I do the paint and a 99' conversion aswell.

here is a 95 ' gsx i just built and am nearing completion. the car was a red, stock, 95' gsx.

As for the copper one, EVERYTHING underneath the car is BRAND NEW. Re-painted and powder coated, And has all new urethane solid bushings aswel...

I have tons of pics, But rarely any time to send anyone pics or write up forsale threads. I am very busy finishing up the full build on the now blue gsx. It's 2010' lexus ISF blue, I just did it, Enginebay/jams/car, EVERYTHING. built motor, Every bolt on, All tuning equipment, Full suspension, CF everywhere, Rims/tires, ETC ETC ETC, full wire tuck. Just finishing up and selling it cheap for a fast sale!

But anyways, Ya the blue on the gsx i'm finishing up looks light in the day time, But dark with no flash on, ETC. It's the color of the 2010' Lexus ISF. It's ultrasonic blue metallic.

Yeah, that was a crappy cell phone picture I posted.. I'll have some ACTUAL pictures of the car tomorrow taken and I sent you a PM of the only picture I have that was taken with a decent camera previously

Just to update this thread, I bought the white gsx today that the original poster posted. It was 15 minutes from me. Car was well worth the price actually. Body was in great shape in person other then a fender (gave new fender, And I will be doing a full 99' conversion next week and repainting it white anyways). Interior was MINT. Funny thing is, the car started right up on the first crank... Not sure what is actually going on with it, But i'll bring it in next week when I'm done with the current one i'm building. I have a bunch of motors anyways so if it did happen to need to be replaced, That'd be a quick simple thing Glad I actually went to look at it this afternoon because the pictures made it look worse. The car also came with the stock tail-lights being I'll be throwing out the clear tails.

Thank you all for the comments about the paint aswell. I'm trying to get the blue one done this week. Stil lhafto install the catch can, ss coolant bottle, heat sheild, and put the battery in the trunk and tuck some more wires. Along with install the p/s.

dannygsx: I'm on tristatetuners (eklipzGSXkid), I just posted in one of your threads last nite. I have plenty dsm's ha ha . I've had around 67 or so, So far. The white gsx came with stock tail lights, Because I will be throwing the altezza's in the trash .

The 06' sti is mine, It made 713awhp/826wtq on c16 race fuel. I bought it bone stock last april and built the car.

The silver touring edition 350z is mine awell.


I'm going to be selling the blue car for only $5,600-6,000 as soon as I finish that. I just spent that much on all brand new parts for the car, Alone... So i'm not making ANY money on the car itself. I do not keep them. As soon as I'm done with a ground-up build, I instantly get sick of the car and need another one (hence why I have so many in line to be built being as soon as I'm finished with one, Another one instantly comes in!)

I do the jams/bays' on every one of them. As I said, I usually build every one I get (4-5 a month easily). Every one gets all brand new parts from the ground up.

I remember on tristate when you were painting the orange car. I asked you if you could paint my valve cover that color cause it is so sick. The blue one is one great example of a properly well built dsm.
