CRAP!!! I thought so, I'm missing the connect part that attached to the manifold, all I have there is the metal cylinder with a black circle in the middle!! not even enough to attach a new cable... can I replace this part in its entirety? any one have a spare?

is this critical?

i dont think it matters much. Its most likely to reduce ground noise. As in electrical noise. Like a filter kind of. But judging from its size it probably cant be that effective

Ya i was woundering the same thing on my i figured it was for the ac, dont have the sensor for mine just the cable, dont think it makes a diffrance honestly.
