Ok, well the fun just keeps coming for me...

When I checked the ECU when I first got it, the caps were fine.
Now with all these damn no start issues and literaly already putting the car up for parts I decided to look at the ECU again...
and well... a cap blew...

From the electronics side (I deal in computers) it is very minor...
only superficial resin damage.
So now I am off to pull the caps and order new ones...     (there are not enough angery faces in the world for how I feel right now!

breathe son...

just remember that it could always be a lot worse.. like you said, the damage doesn't seem that bad. it will be ok :thumb:
Damage is not bad, correct. Hell I already have the caps out.
Hell it barely damaged the resin...
it only took 4 1/2 q tips to clean it even...

But as soon as this thing is running right...

It is getting a swift kick in the tail end and being sold.
I have never had to deal with such a pain ever...
