I will only polish the upper two because they are aluminum. I don't really want to attract attention the lower portion of my engine bay as it will take away your attention from the upper part. If anything the lower mounts would be powder coated black.

It's going well. I believe I started it too soon and money has been tight. Right now the car is on jack stands without a transmission. I'm waiting to get my Three Speed scatter shield back from getting chrome plated, then the tranny will go in.
If you want to know more about the swap I update my blog all the time. I made it to keep my dad always updated with what I'm doing when he's traveling.

Lol I'm in Iowa on Christmas vacation. Being in AZ sucks...no season change, nowhere to ski or snowboard. Big fan of the cold and snow.

It is all in pieces. Last year when I upgraded to a GT30R and all my Shearer stuff, I kind of rushed things and did not do things how I like. I think I did post pictures of my engine bay a while ago and the feedback was all positive. But I have never been satisfied with it, so I'm making some changes this year.

Polish the the intire tranny.

I don't want to over do it. I want a contrast between powder coated parts and the chrome plated and polished pieces. I'm also aiming for the ease of maintenance, and something that can easily be cleaned.

With time my valve cover will be a different color and I'll ditch the unappealing OEM oil cap.

I have ran out of things to polish, so my tech article is taking a while. I might try it on my radiatior just because its laying around and would at least help me get my point across.

I have much respect for you and your car; your attention to detail shows how much love you have for your car bro keep up the good work. As soon as I have enough money to get my reverse mount from shearer I might be able to rival you and Mario .
