I wrote this on my blog, but I though I would just share this with you all.
Today Denver Bumper Works called and told me that my parts were done. My dad went and picked them up for me and they look beautiful. Some spots the chrome couldn't be buffed. So far its been hard for me to even get in there with my buffer.

The brake fluid reservoir bracket looks amazing on the car with the brand new brake fluid cap I picked up at the dealership!

That looks great! I've been thinking about doing this to some parts to go along with parts I've already polished. Mind if I ask how much the brackets and scattershield cost to chrome from Denver Bumper? Also, what was the turn around time? Did you have to do any prep to the parts before handing them over to be chromed? Thanks.

I dropped the parts off at Denver Bumper on November 29th, and I just got them back today (Dec. 31). So a whole month. I think I paid like $75 for the scatter shield and $55 for the other 2 brackets.
I didn't have to prep any parts either. Originally I had the brackets spray painted silver that was coming off, and they took care of it. So far I have spent very little money to have clean parts. My work just spent $20k+ on some super parts cleaner, so more parts are getting cleaned up soon.

Also, Denver Bumper can only plate ferrous objects. So no aluminum, it's a different chroming process.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Can't wait to see pictures of the engine bay with all that installed.

Your car is going to look like some of the lowriders around here when you're done with it, Grant.

;)

I don't want to do that much chrome and polish. Just want to make things look nicer, but who knows it might get addicting. I have a few more things I think I want chromed. But I'm not sure if I want to do the 4 week wait again.
