First Post - Hi Just Bought a TSi

So I traded in my RSX type S (I/H/E + Hondata and more) for a Stock 97 Eagle Talon TSi AWD...manual trannie. Only 60,000mi original owners...and catch this 60 years old and they liked the car because they thought it was "cute"......traded it in for a 3g Eclipse Vert . The sales guy (who i know) said he has never seen one come in with so few miles and in such great condition (no dings, dents and perfect paint).

For now she isnt quite as nice as the RSX or as fast (yet) but she does scoot off the line and the payments are nice and cheap. I love the spool and the TORQUE , god I was torque starved.

See ya around...im sure ill have lots of mod questions. I need 13's quick.

Yah...ive already done quite a bit of searching and reading on mods and I think I have a good plan for hitting mid-high13 with moderate mods

congrats on a great find. i have a 97 talon and it has to be the sexiest of all the body styles. I bought mine in 2003 and it had 43,000 miles on it. Its great to know that you got a good deal. You'll start to love it more and more everyday. Especially when you start smoking domestics.

Nice! first things first, get some springs,cuz it looks like your ready to go rally racing.

Sweet car. Nice color, good body style, pretty low mileage, and owned by a grandma!

Don't go burning your clutch and breaking your tranny too fast. Believe me, it's tempting. I toasted my clutch in about 2 months practicing launches on a stocker with 90K.

Oh yeah, and don't neglect suspension mods just because your car is AWD. Swaybars will make your car feel like it should. Some nice wheels and tires are always a good idea as well. I love the predictable and solid handling of my car, even though I could have another 50hp for the money I spent on suspension mods.
