Hey guys,
I'm new here. I got this 1991 Eagle Talon TSi AWD from my friend's brother in trade for my old 1994 F-150. It's got 138k on it, and I believe it's stock. Right now it's still at my friend's house waiting for the accessory belts to be put back on. Of course, the A/C belt didn't break so don't worry  . Anyways, I have a few questions about the car. First, how do I install the belts, and which of the belts connects to the Power Steering pump? Every other car I've had used one belt, and now I don't know how to do it. Second, how do I wire up the sunroof? The guy before ripped the wires out and so its temporarily shut. And finally, which wires go where for the transmission mode selector (where you can choose how it shifts)? I have to rewire that too. Thanks guys, and if I asked a stupid question, feel free to bash me.

the timing belt is a must, if it hasnt been replaced, replace it before you end up with bent valves or worse

It was my bro he traded, this was the Talon that I was gonna buy but decied not to cause it's an auto. I'm looking for a 5 Speed DSM, doesnt have to be turbo just DOHC now. Just to let everyone know it wasnt my brother who ripped the sunroof wires out and when he says the the button to tell how it shifts, he meant he power/eco button. HELP THIS GUY OUT QUICK, I wanna go cruising in this car. :thumb:

BTW:The timing belt was replaced less than 30000 miles ago so it should be good for awhile.

Well, we got the belts on tonight. Power steering doesn't work, but that's fine with me. While driving around tonight, however, the timing belt snapped. I was doing about 55 at 3 grand, so hopefully its not hurt. What do you guys think? If I hurt it, whats the worst that could've happened? How do I change the belts and time it? And finally, is a more expensive belt better?

For any of you guys who don't do your own work when it comes to a problem like this, how much would it cost me to take it to a garage and have it done? I know where I can get a spare head and valve, so thats not a problem.

A lot.

This isnt answerable because the cost will depend on how good of a job you want them to do, and how fast they feel like doing it.

I just want a good job done on it. I don't care how long it takes because I still have my Cutlass here.
