Just got a 95 GST for my first car!!Heres it's mods K&N intake filter, ebay aluminum intake snorkel(not installed yet), Apex N1 downpipe and exhaust, GReddy RS blowwoff valve(recirculated),225lph fuel pump, 550cc injectors, Apex AFCII, Hallman mbc,
ACT 2600 clutch, ACT lightweight flywheel, B$M shortshifter, polyurethane shifter stabalizer set, NGK 1 step colder plugs and wires, slotted brake rotors and hawk brake pads!!The rest is stock. Also its a 7 bolt:toobad:

I have some money put aside, it has a manifold leak but its not urgent :notgood:
Can someone lead me to a big upgraded header?
Also please share your opinions on what i should ugrade after the headers that will increase the performance the most

You should of went bigger on injectors to 750 or 850 so you can support 500 or 600 hp easer. If I was you I would think about a new turbo instead of the stock one first. Find out what turbo you want then you look for a exaust manifold for it. Comp Turbo makes some good ones but youll need the T3/T4 manifold an have a custom made O2 housing. Which thats the same with evey turbo besides the MHI one's. So think it threw first before jumping in.

For your first car, you got a nicely modded rocket. Don't hurt yourself.

Did you get a afpr for the huge fuel pump? If not check the vendor announments to find some great deals.

I'm throwing on HKS Adjustable Cam gears and a valve cover and valve gasket then im going to start the maintence( Belts etc). The car isnt moving until i do that so its no biggie. :thumb:But is that alright or do i need to do maintence first cause im automatically getting a new belt for the cam gears

well once you get maintentance done spend the money on a good 14b instead of the cam gears.

Congrats on the new and first car! If it were me, I would skip the cam gears for now and I would get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator if you don't already have one. I would focus on the basic maintenance tasks (All fluids, filters, lubrication) this will save you headaches down the road. Take care of any leaks, especially pre-turbo exhaust and after turbo intake leaks. I would wait on the turbo upgrades until you know what you want to do with the car. (50 trim, 16g=Road Racing/ GT35R, 20g=Drag Racing) If it is purely a street car then the smaller turbos are usually the most fun.

Definitely come up with a plan for your car before upgrading. You don't want to have to buy the same items twice, or find that for your goals the part isn't necessary. Are you going to put your car on a dyno in the next few months? If not then the cam gears are going to be a few hundred dollars of bling that could of been a 30+hp mod or part.

Most of all search, read, ask questions there aren't many cars with as much info freely available as you will find with DSMs.

If you need an HKS Timming Belt Bill at Showdown Motorsports has one. It was mine for my car an then he made me change my mind when he told me that HKS cam gears dont hold up to good at high rpm's. So I sold my HKS's an went with AEM an got a blue kevlar belt. If you dont have DSMLink or a standalone ECU get the cam gears, or you just want the looks. If you got a standalone ECU you can do the timming in it an wont have use cam gears. Eather way you go get some HKS Cams the 272/272 if you want to go big latter or the 264/272 combo if the 16g is all ## doing.

I'm suprised it took till post #12 to ask this one. What do you want to do with the car? Road Race/Drag/AutoX or just a B-A street car? If it the last option stop wasting money you already have a pretty nice street car. But get a plan in order before buying any more crap. Just my .02 Oh and get it fixed before spending money on upgrades you never know what else you'll have to fix.
