Alright. I'm going to catch hell, but why not. How do I make my bov loud?
haha. Joking.
I own a 100% stock 96 gst spyder. I've just ordered an EVOIII big 16g from extremepsi.com. (since I ***ed the stock t-25) Everyone is saying that this is a bad first mod. I'm going to keep the boost stock. I'm 99% sure there will be no issues with that as long as it stays stock.
So, for anyone that has the time and patience... What are the modifications I need to do to reach my 300-350 hp goal without having to spend too too much cash? Not trying to cut corners. And this is going to be at least a year long project, being that I'm not rich. This car WILL be an everyday driver, so I want it to be as reliable as possible while not sacrificing power. I've done all the maintnance i.e. fluid change, timing belt ect... Minus an engine rebuild/swap. Not sure which route I'll be going there, since I'm not a member of the Redskins making 42 mill guarnteed. (Go Cowboys)
I'm just trying to get a list started from everyone here so that I can set a price, since I'm not sure of all the parts needed to start this project. I'm not wanting to get what I don't need. Only what is needed. Also, I'm kind of looking for an order to follow as well (1st. boost gauges, 2nd safc 3rd...ect...) Because I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to vehicles, so I must be spoken to as if I were a 9 year old.
I'm looking for the specifics. how large of injectors? Should I upgrade my clutch? Is an upgraded oil cooler needed for me if I only plan on stop light racing every now and then?
I'm looking to kick about 95-99% of all these stock Mustangs, Camaro's asses as well as 100% of every honda/acura's asses as well. But Nothing too damn extreme. I definately want reliability over performance. I would like to keep this car as long as possible.
You guys are amazing for even looking at this post since there are a lot more out there. All help is good help. Thanks
