since i remember you and your noobie posts MarsaGSX, I won't flame you.

the MAFT is a poor tuning device. 85% of the people I know have had problems with irradic results. that's a shitty pot-luck draw if you ask me for 300 bucks. I'd rather get an SAFC which is PROVEN to make numbers (not nearly 500WHP, but 400 easy).

I've never seen a MAFT only car make that kind of power.

So, I'd like to call out the.. I've "read", I've "heard" and put my .02 in. any naysayers feel free to prove me wrong

Well,
I just wants to bring new Idea! Because NoOne in this thread talked about MafT set up! And all I wrote is what I checked in threads about Maf T! Tell me if it´s not true!
check all Maf T threads.
Maybe it is not well as SAFC in Fine tuning, but there are lot of benefits which SAFC doesn´t have.As a Blow threw, spool up,Can run Injectors bigger as 1000cc-(Safc 680cc),can make fuell tuning(maybe not well as SAFC).
It doesn´t not matter if Iam Newbie, because I wants to bring new Point to talk :shhh:

Holy ****, please stop talking. I feel like I am listening to a retarded 4 year old talk only worse.

hey guys, we got misunderstanding here!
On begining of my reply i wrote"What about to use MAF T set up? " It was Just a question!
YES or NOT?

OKAY! That is good answer I understand, but tell me what is wrong what I wrote about MafT please (Blow threw, spool up,Can run Injectors bigger as 1000cc-(Safc 680cc),can make fuell tuning(maybe not well as SAFC).
what is wrong that you talk about retard 4year old.rapridersrider.You stop talking :barf:
Maybe it´s wrong translate :coy:
Thank you

No one I know with a MAFT setup likes it to be honest, and yes while it can compensate for injectors to a degree in no way would the compensation be as good as some sort of chip burned for it AND including a change in deadtime.

Others have the right idea, get the AFC dialed in and if/when you can use a TMO chip too. The biggest problem with the AFC and the 660s will be that due to the massive compensation you have to run, the ECU will see low airflow levels and keep bumping the timing up.

What I ended up doing was going for DSMlink instead of the AFC/logger setup, which would easily have worked for me probably.

wow you guys kinda harsh! LOL

a retarded 4 year old rampridersrider?! geez LOL..

ya Marsa I've looked up all that stuff and ultimatlely from what most of everybody has said the next best thing to DSMlink with the 660's would be the safc with a logger and then that burned chip. And since I have the safc all hooked up that's what I'm gonna go with LOL. I just need to get that chip now :) .. but thanks.. and thanks for the help everyone else..

blcknspo0ln I think your being a little naieve. lets use your same number 85% as in 85% of people that run MAF-T use it in CONJUNCTION with a safc. Or how bout 85% or people that use a safc use that with a burned chip especially when the injector size is over 660. Yes safc is a better fine uning device then the maft v2 but where in any of these post did someone say that you could only use one or the other???

ya if I was to get the MAF-T it would've been primarily for venting purposes as stapl3 said LOL. Also because I heard its suppose to help with a little quicker spooling.. didn't even think about using it for tuning LOL :)

MAFT is an excellent device if you are running a 16g turbo and 550s. You can lay down good numbers, and its very easy to use. Once you start getting to larger injector sizes, you start running into high timing issues as well as injector dead time. I tried to run 650s with just MAFT and I lost all power below 3500 rpms (when I used to get full power at about 2600) and I got crazy high timing.

MAFT also took off about 300-400 rpms off of my spool-up time which in my mind is a MASSIVE difference on a 16g.

If you use MAFT in conjunction with DSMLink or any other tuning device that provides compensation at the ECU instead of changing air flow values, it is a valuable tool.
