What's up guys. After a few months of searching I finally came across a 91 Eagle Talon TSI with 150,000 miles. It has a 5-speed manual, with a 3rd gear grind even after changing the trans fluid to gm sycromesh. The only other thing wrong with the car is that my oil pan is leaking at the drain plug. It was dented by the previous owner and the bolt is stripped in the hole. So if anyone has a used oil pan in good shape let me know. I also fixed my idle problem today by turning the biss screw. It was fluctuating when I was coming to a stop and idling around 950 rpms when stopped. Now it idles around 750 rpms, doesn't fluctuate and actually has a little more respone and pickup. I am in the process of giving it a tune up so any help will be appreciated.
My plans for this car are to either rebuilt the motor and trans, or swap a jdm motor and trans by this summer. Then I'm going to start modding. Maybe I'll just stick with stage 1 mods so I can keep this my daily driver. I'm looking at pushing around 300 hp to the wheels. Anyways.. sorry for the long post and here are some pics.
