Congrats, man! :thumb: That's awesome!
I love your car. I'm probably more interested in it, than any other DSM.
What's next for your car... I guess a full roll cage huh?ROFL
I bet a 90mm TB, Aftermarket Intake Mani, and Ported Heads will give you 500+awhp on pump gas easy! That would be sweet to see! I've got a 500awhp, pump gas, turbo only goal myself... gonna build a 2.1l and rev to 1050-1100RPM :D Can't wait!

Congrats again!:thumb:
my car idles at 1100 sometimes.....ROFL

Hey EvilE I had old info. I'm still reading alot of your older posts, and set-ups... I havent quite caught up yet. Either way the setup is bad ass!

Yeah I did say head(s) huh. My last 4 cars/trucks were V8's and I still cant get it in my head I only have 1 head on this thing LOL

Oh no bigge man, just thought I would point it out to ya ;) we all make honest mistakes now and then. Nice looking firebird man!:thumb:

That video kicked ass! I just went out in my car and pretended like I was you for a few minutes by shifting and dreaming I had those kind of times.

Sweet! I noticed you still have the T67... Why not go back to the FP35 after your PTE fiasco? Also, I see that you actually have a manifold now... LOL. I guess you had to get one to get the T67 to bolt up to. I liked how you ran into the extremely low 10's with a ported 2g manny... Good job. Keep it up!

Your EGT guage isn`t working? why? kinda useless for you right now?

I got the new t4 DNP manifold and I just haven't bunged in the EGT probe yet, EGT is pretty useless to me anymore anyway. Thats an old school way of tuning. So it's just there to fill the hole till I put the bung in the manifold for it.

Congrats! I knew it would come. Now get that cage certed to run faster times!

WOW!!!

Don't want to sound all brokeback, but you are my inspiration for a 1g project.

^^hahah, that's funny. Thanks guys, I'm heading out to the tracks tomorrow to get the licensing done, so 2 out of 4 passes will be full passes, shooting for 9.70's-9.80's I will keep you guys posted. Oh and the temps should be about 65 degrees tomorrow night at the tracks for my 2 full passes I do at the end of the licensing.:thumb:

Congratz man on getting into the 9's. Very nice vid too. 9's is my goal. Pretty much just need a cage now. Look forward to seeing how deep you can go with your set-up.

Congrats!!!! I like how you are still on the good ole 2.0L instead of jumping on the 2.3/2.4L bandwagon... Now lets see some mid 9s!!!:D

And just for everyone's viewing pleasure:D I love these pics Thanks to Matthew Poppoff

Ah, and what viewing pleasure it is.

Freakin sweet pictures.

Love the sharp car with blurred background :rocks:

good job!! it says you were on stock struts? Looks like it from the video the car dunked everytime you shifted, get some stiffer struts on those rears and tighten everything up ( including motor mounts if you havent done so ) and might notice an improvement !!

Well it was a long day for licensing. Got all 6 passes done in one night, thank god it's over LOL. Track prep was pretty shitty last night since it was a street legal fun night and they don't really prep the track much on nights like this..

1st pass was a 60ft. pass then shut down.
2nd pass was a 330ft. pass then shut down.
3rd pass was a 1/8th mile pass then shut down
4th pass was a 1000ft. pass then shut down.

Then my 2 full passes.

60. 1.549
330 4.331
1/8 6.545
mph 113.63
1000 8.419
1/4 9.986
MPH 144.71

2nd full pass for the license and to back up my 9.98 pass and my best pass to date..

1/8 6.516

Next step is suspension tuning with a good set of JIC's.

Congratulations, the car is well put together and very consistent!:dsm:

please dear lord tell me you aren't one of those people who holds the shifter upside down to "prevent money shifting". All my bmw friends say that their cars are "prone to moneyshifting" and so that is why at work, while driving a customers bmw, I would always try and shift as fast and irrisposibly as possible, without grinding gears that is. Try as I might, I haven't money shifted.

Have you moneyshifted a car before?

I probably should just keep my mouth shut, as your the one putting down the good numbers, but it just seems crazy to me that some people shift like that. Its just a more awkward way to shift to me. At least you only do it on the 3>4 shift. I've always just let the tranny guide itself on that one, push straight back and it just goes into gear every time.

A short shifter makes it a lot harder to money shift also.
