(downshifting when you ment to upshift, because it over revs your engine and you have to spend a lot of money rebuilding the head. money, shift...)

I wanted to prove that it doesn't take a tone of money into suspension mods to run into the 9's, also I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it.

I have the 26"x16"x9" hoosiers. I never ran it on street tires with this setup, on the older setup with the 3575 turbo I went 10.66 @139mph on 17" toyo proxies 205/45/17

Thanks man, the t4 t67 turbo had the .82ar exhaust housing. Alittle laggy, but the top end was nuts.

Just curious... why are you messing with the wiper switch is that your nitrous button. I have to give it to ya man you can drive well. DSM's are one of the hardest cars I have had to learn to shift.

, I'll answer that one.

Even though I have a 2g, I know the 1g's during a hard shift or launch will end up moving the windshield wiper arm and end up turning them on. So Jake automatically just puts his hand there to turn them back off during the run, regardless of whether the arm moves or not. It's a force of habit.

more hard work than money. A friend of mine ran a 13.1 with $50 in the car(boost controller. And he couldnt shift real great either. Its all in the know how, all the little free things make a big difference when combined. I am certain with a good driver he could have hit 12's.
